01 Introduction

Verdict MMA, Inc. ("Verdict") Responsible Gaming Policy describes the Responsible Gaming ("RG") program and the features available to Players who have registered on verdictmma.com. Verdict may periodically update this Responsible Gaming Policy and will notify Players of any changes; Players are responsible for remaining familiar with the terms of this Responsible Gaming Policy over time.

02 Verdict’s RG Program

Verdict’s RG Program is built around two primary goals — providing Players with the tools, resources, and information they need to prevent gambling-related risk and harm, and to mitigate gambling-related risk and harm.

The program aims to support the needs of individuals across the player spectrum, from prospective and new Players to casual, serious-social, and at-risk Players. To meet these needs we offer a range of player education resources, RG play-management tools, and a Self-Exclusion program.

The choice whether or not to gamble ultimately rests with the individual Player. Verdict’s RG Program focuses on informing and supporting Players. Players at all times remain solely responsible for their gambling behaviours.

03 RG Management Tools

These tools are available from your account settings and aim to support positive play behaviours, as well as help you learn about and understand your own activity, patterns, and behaviours.

  • Deposit Limits — set a limit on the amount of funds you may deposit toward Tournaments over fixed daily, weekly, and monthly periods. Decreases take effect immediately; increases or removals take effect after a cooling-off period.
  • Entry Fee Limits — set a limit on the entry fee of any Tournament you may enter. Decreases take effect immediately; increases take effect after a cooling-off period.
  • Entry Limits — set a limit on the number of Tournaments you can enter over fixed daily, weekly, and monthly periods.
  • Timeout — take a temporary break from Tournament play for a period you choose. While on a Timeout you can still log in and withdraw funds, but you cannot deposit or enter Tournaments until it ends.

04 Self-Exclusion

Self-Exclusion is a program that assists people in taking steps to control or cease their gambling behaviour on verdictmma.com. A Self-Excluded Individual is excluded from Tournaments conducted and managed by Verdict and is ineligible to register a new account for the duration of their term.

05 Preventing Underage Play

We are committed to preventing underage persons from using our product. As part of registration you must affirm that you are of legal age in your region, and electronic ID checks are completed to confirm your age before any withdrawal. Should it be discovered that an underage person has played on the site despite these controls, we will return any monies deposited and cancel the account.
