Islam Makhachev vs Ian Machado Garry

Apart from the head kick Islam didn’t have much going for him on the feet. I feel like Ian’s game plan wasn’t the best, stayed flat footed and stationary. Ian didn’t capitalize with kicks to the body and didn’t do a good enough job of setting up the head kicks. Islams grip strength must be otherworldly, Ian had a very hard time getting off the cage, and separating Islam’s hands. Overall I enjoyed the fight, I would like to see Islam work harder at advancing positions rather than just kneeing the thigh. Pretty clear 3-2 decisions win for Islam imo.
