This Mexico City event became one of the most bizarre in UFC history when the main event ended in a no contest after just 15 seconds. Hometown fighter Yair Rodríguez accidentally poked Jeremy Stephens in the eye, and despite five minutes of stoppage time, Stephens could not continue. The disappointed crowd threw bottles and trash into the cage. The co-main featured Carla Esparza defeating Alexa Grasso via decision, earning Fight of the Night.
