UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje

Khabib Nurmagomedov cemented himself as one of the Lightweight GOATs and retired from the sport at UFC 254. Following the passing of his father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, Khabib stated he would not return to the Octagon, choosing to leave the sport on his own terms with his 29–0 record intact. Robert Whittaker vs. Jared Cannonier also took place in the co-main event, a pivotal bout at the time in determining the next UFC Middleweight contender.
