After three years out of the game, Henry Cejudo jumped straight back into the title picture against Aljamain Sterling, who was slowly cementing himself as one of the Bantamweight GOATs despite a controversial reign. Gilbert Burns also accepted a five-round, short-notice main event against Belal Muhammad after previously competing at both UFC 283 and UFC 287.
