The Flyweight main event was originally set as Brandon Royval vs. Manel Kape, but Royval withdrew due to concussion issues, with Asu Almabayev stepping in on short notice. The fight was later rebooked for December of the same year. Kape won by TKO in round three, but controversy followed after he landed multiple eye pokes throughout the fight and immediately prior to the stoppage.
