Light-Heavyweight Jamahal Hill faced Khalil Rountree Jr. in the main event, headlining the UFC’s debut in Azerbaijan. The fight was originally booked for UFC 303, then again in April 2025, before finally taking place here. A scheduled co-main event between Tagir Ulanbekov and Kyoji Horiguchi fell apart when Horiguchi pulled out, with Azat Maksum stepping in as the replacement. Hometown fighter Rafael Fiziev picked up his first win in three years against Ignacio Bahamondes in the new co-main event.
