UFC 301: Pantoja vs. Erceg

Alexandre Pantoja headlined his first UFC event at UFC 301, taking on Steve Erceg, who was taking a huge leap in the rankings. Pantoja, who at the time had defeated Moreno three times, Royval twice, plus Perez and others, was game to fight any contender in the division. Erceg was ranked 10th in the division at the time. After retiring at UFC 278, Jose Aldo also made his return, taking on rising contender Jonathan Martinez in the co-main event slot.
