Norbert Novenyi Jr. vs Theo Haig

Haig immediately gets dropped but recovers and gets up. Novenyi can’t capitalize with the drop or the good clinch position and Haig catches one of Novenyi’s kicks and takes him down. Haig is able to pass the gaurd and get to North South and has a nice darce attempt. Novenyi wrestles up and they start trading heavy shots. Haig blitzes in and gets a nice entry and eventually the takedown. Haig has the back and is very threatening with face cranks and chokes. Haig gets the mount and looks for arm triangles but Novenyi keeps rolling snd scrambling. Eventually Novenyi retains his gaurd and they battle it out to end the round. Round 2 Novenyi is clipping Haig who is pushing hard for a takedown. Novenyi deters the takedown and rolls for a leg getting nice knee bar for a moment but can’t finish it. Novenyi’s grappling defense is awesome. Haig gets reversed on a takedown attempt but gets a nice guillotine from gaurd for a second. They get up and Novenyi gets a nice trip. He controls Haig in the ground for a bit before they stand up and bounce around a bit to end the round. Both guys are tired and Novenyi is done trying to scrap with Haig. Novenyi shoots a take down and gets it landing ground strikes and controlling Haig. They stand up but Novenyi controls and landing strikes in the clinch pressing for a takedown. He finds small many returns but Haig’s takedown defense is nice. They’re tired and strike for a bit but Novenyi presses forward with clinch and takedowns. It’s goes all 3. Probably 3-0 Novenyi.
