Brady Hiestand vs Rinya Nakamura

Montel Jackson is a very tricky and skilled fighter. Ricky Simon is a game and dangerous fighter. Jackson is looking good at the start of this fight, moving out of danger well, landing nice combos, and his strait shots are hurting Simon. A big explosive takedown attempt from Simon forces Jackson to somehow deter it. Simon wants the back but while trying to get it he lets Jackson up. Back standing Jackson is a bit more reserved as he doesn’t want taken down again. They throw back and forth for a bit before Jackson cracks Simon bad dropping him. Simon wrestles up and puts Jackson on the defense but he gets a slight darce choke and then a nice look at an arm bar to end the round but Simon slips out. Jackson is looking very composed and is moving slick. His cross is nasty and his eyes are on tonight. Simon is not deterred he still look dangerous and is still moving forward. Jackson’s counters are crisp and he lands a nice one on Simon before landing a beautiful 1-2 and one super necessary shot to force the ref to step in. Great win from Montel Jackson who looked great against a very good opponent. He stays in the top 15 and deserves so.
