Sheesh both these guys look dangerous. Bellato appears to think he has the advantage in grappling and uses a fake takedown to get some shots off and then controls Edwards against the fence. Edwards clinch game and defense looks good though and makes Bellato work. Edwards forces Bellato to retreat after landing some nice clinch strikes himself. They trade heavy shots before Edwards goes in for his own takedown turning I into clinch control on the fence. Edwards is looking good here landing some good elbows and strikes but as they break he gets caught flush and dropped. Edwards recovers but Bellato jumps on him inching his way to mount. Edwards gets some distance and tries to scramble but Bellato fins his back and threatens from there to end the round. Both guys are looking for their route to custody through clinch and control. Bellato gets to the clinch first isn’t doing enough with it. They break and then clinch on the fence again. Edwards is able to defend properly and they break to strike. Edwards get a nice leg kick and a bit of offense off. Bellato cracks Edwards giving him some confidence on the feet. They go back and forth on the feet to end the round. Both guys are tired, Edwards seems a bit fresher but Bellato still has the power advantage. I think Edwards has the right urgency about him, really pressing forward wanting to win this round. Edwards puts Bellato on the defense by clinching him then releases. Now at distance Edwards is looking for something mean and he finds it during a striking exchange in the form of a flush left hook in the pocket. Really tough fight and a tough guy to beat let alone finish. Big things next for Edwards.
