Rnd 1: 10-9 Penn. Beautifully defended all the takedowns. Landed the harder punches and outboxed him. Stunned him a bit with a right hook. Landed some nice uppercuts while defending. Landed a leg kicks. Pressured mostly. Nice knees in the clinch also. Serra couldnt do much. Rnd 2: 10-9 Serra. Serra landed some nice hooks mixing it up with his wrestling. Landed a nice double leg. Making it ugly and its working. Penn defended lots of takedowns and landed a trip but Serra got up quick. Penn couldnt get his striking going. Rnd 3: 10-9 Penn. Serra clearly tired in this one. Penn more active with his jab. Defended the takedowns again. Landed the better punches. Some good leg kicks. Serra couldnt get his thing going here. Total: 29-28 BJ Penn Resume: Penn showed great TDD. Nice jabs. Good leg kicks. Nice uppercuts while defending. Patient in this one. Nice boxing and pretty powerful when active. Nice adjustment in this one. Shouldve been a bit more active. Serra showed very good adjustments too. Ok wrestling. Pretty good hands but a bit behind in this one. Nice hooks after the takedown attempts. Both JiuJitsu just negated each others
