Joshua Van vs Alexandre Pantoja
Absolute banger of a rematch. Joshua Van showed the doubters that it wasn’t just a fluke and he has the skill set to sit upon the throne of the 125 pounders. I feel that pantojas corner telling him that he’s up 2-0 after round 2 was a big mistake. Nevertheless, Van kept going and landed combo after combo. He was making it look easy against someone who had dominated the division for so long. After a non eventful round 4 with pantoja controlling in full guard, Van goes into round 5 and keeps the pace up. His cardio was once again paying off and he ended up getting his hand raised after a dominant 25 min fight. Most likely next in line for the title shot is manel kape coming off of 2 big ko victories at the end of Dec 2025 and in June 2026. Kape is a dangerous striker with heavy hands and has the ability to change a fight with one punch at any second. In my opinion, pantoja should fight the winner of Lone’er Kavanaugh VS Ramazan Temirov which takes place at UFC 334.
