Joanne Wood Wins at Retires at UFC 299

The opening bout for UFC 299 was a Women's Flyweight rematch between Joanne Wood and Maryna Moroz. Moroz submitted Wood with an armbar in their first meeting, but this time, Wood won via a split decision.

Wood suffered a tough start to the fight, unable to return to her feet in the first round. But, in the second and third, she outstruck Moroz, including landing a nasty spinning back fist that nearly closed the show.
