Merab Dvalishvili Claims Title in UFC 306 Main Event

Merab Dvalishvili used his pace and wrestling to control Sean O'Malley over five rounds to claim the Bantamweight belt with a decision win in the UFC 306 main event.

Result: Merab Dvalishvili def. Sean O'Malley via Unanimous-Decision (49-46, 48-47x 2)

It was a wrestling clinic from new champion Merab Dvalishvili, who kept a high pace and repeatedly took down Sean O'Malley over the course of five rounds to claim the title. There was a late scare as Merab appeared to be very hurt to the body after a kick, but he survived to reach the scorecards, where he was victorious.
