This round stays mostly on the feet through the first 4 minutes. Gordon outstruck Paddy soundly. Landing his left hand and stunning his opponent. He pressured Paddy against the cage and maintained heavy pressure. The fight hit the mat in the waning minute of the round and Paddy earned a few moments of control time.

This round was closer between the two but saw Gordon control the vast majority of it. He continued to land and pressure the Paddy until late when Pimblett found success again.
