Amanda Nunes will make the first defense of her Bantamweight Championship against Juliana Pena in their trilogy bout at UFC 289 in the main event, in Vancouver, Canada, on June 10th, per Aaron Bronsteter.

This fight takes place in the Women's Bantamweight (135 lbs) division.

Amanda Nunes is the reigning Women's Bantamweight Champion of the world, holds a professional record of 22-5 (15-2 UFC) and has notable wins over Juliana Pena, Valentina Shevchenko, and Cris Cyborg.

Juliana Pena is ranked #1 at Women's Bantamweight, has a professional record of 11-5 (7-3 UFC), and has credible wins over Amanda Nunes, Sara McMann, and Cat Zingano.

Official odds have yet to be released.

Amanda Nunes's last two bouts came against Juliana Pena. In the first, she would shockingly lose via second-round submission and lose her title, but she got revenge at UFC 277. Nunes would secure five knockdowns in the first two rounds and then dominate Pena with her grappling for the final three. The two are now 1-1, and the trilogy will be settled at UFC 289, where Nunes will look to use her wide skillet to make it 2-1 in her favor.

Juliana Pena's last two fights were also against Nunes. She caused one of the biggest upsets in UFC history when she defeated Nunes at UFC 269, but was soundly beaten in their rematch apart from a late armbar scare in the forth round. She'll be looking to drag Nunes into a scrap to reclaim her title and upset the odds once again.
