It has just come out that Charles Oliveira is out of his scheduled title fight against Islam Makhachev at UFC 294 and will be replaced by Makhachev’s last opponent and current Featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski. This fight will take place at Lightweight from the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on October 20th.

This rematch comes as a surprise with it being expected that Volkanovski may take on Ilia Topuria to defend his Featherweight crown however the injury to Oliveira has changed plans.
